Overview
Arusha National Park is a hidden gem within the Northern Safari Circuit, offering a rich blend of ecosystems — from montane forests and sparkling lakes to open savannahs and volcanic craters. Unlike many parks, Arusha allows walking safaris and canoeing, giving visitors an up-close and personal encounter with nature.
You’ll explore habitats teeming with wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, colobus monkeys, flamingos, and sometimes elephants. With luck, you may even spot leopards or hyenas. The park’s backdrop, dominated by Mount Meru, makes it one of Tanzania’s most photogenic destinations.
