Local Guides Moshi began with the voices of guides, drivers, and porters who had one dream, to take ownership of their craft.
After years of working under agencies that took high commissions, a group of passionate guides decided to create something new:
A platform owned by locals, built for fairness, connection, and impact.
With inspiration from human-centered design principles and collaboration among experienced guides, community leaders, and youth, Local Guides Moshi was founded.
Our model ensures that every booking goes directly to those providing the service, no hidden cuts, no unfair systems.
Today, we operate day trips, day safaris, cycling tours, and community experiences. All designed to connect travelers with Moshi’s natural and cultural heritage.
